Traditional entertainment is on offer from two morris dancing sides who will do a mini ‘tour’ of Wokingham pubs tomorrow night (Thursday, May 11).
Hurst Morris People are joining Wokingham-based side Berkshire Bedlam to dance at The Ship Inn in Peach Street at 8pm. Then they’ll all move on to perform at The Queen’s Head in The Terrace at 9pm.
On Thursday, May 25, at 8pm Hurst Morris host Shinfield Shambles Border morris dancers at The Wheelwright’s Arms, Hurst.
The audience can show their appreciation by donating to Katharine House Hospice which has supported Hurst Morris side members and their families.
Hurst Morris kicked off their new summer season of live, traditional music and dance last week at The Jolly Farmer, Hurst. Customers were treated to the Hurst team performing Cotswold-style dances and Theale Tattoo tapping out northwest step clog.
