A POSITIVE mental attitude is important.
It it enables us to try to understand what we can do for the best.
Life will always present problems, and ideally, we should put ourselves in a
position to make the best of any situation we find ourselves in.
Nobody can control everything that happens to them in their lives, but they can control their reactions.
Our actions can change the course of our lives.
This is always true.
Every one of us can take actions that will change what happens to us in the future.
We have to choose what will improve our lives.
Identifying the best action to take isn’t easy, but consistently doing it ver time can be harder still.
I always try to make decisions just for today.
If I can make a change and live with it today, I may well be able to do the same tomorrow.
I try not to think about the month or years in the future – I try to live day by day.
And for me, it’s very important to forgive myself for mistakes made in the past.
Forgiving myself and everybody else is a vital step on the journey.
If I don’t forgive, my mind is full of guilt or resentment of others, and my mind is full of negative thoughts.
For me, it is impossible to maintain a positive attitude when I have all these negative thoughts going around in my head.
