A GROUP of fixers will be standing by this weekend, ready to repair broken items brought to them by members of the public.
Since 2024 Woodley Repair Cafe has repaired over 820 items and saved 1370 kgs (over 1.3 tons) from landfill.
On Sunday, the community-centred workshop will once again get ready to help people repair and maintain their broken or faulty items.
Repair Cafés can help with repairs to clothing, bikes, garden equipment, and hundreds of household items, and also provide places where people can meet and get to know one another.
Woodley Repair Cafe meets at Christ Church, Crockhamwell Rd, Woodley, on the first Sunday of the month, from 2pm until 4pm.
The next event is on Sunday, September 6.
