The date of Wokingham Town’s Emirates FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round tie against Corsham Town has now been confirmed.

Lowther Road will host the time on Friday, August 7, with a 7.45pm kick-off.

This is due to the club sharing its home with Emmbrook and Bearwood Cricket Club.

The winners of that tie will face a trip to face Hungerford Town in the next round of the national knock-out competition.

They will also receive £1,125 in prize money, with the defeated side pocketing £375.

Wokingham Town will also be hoping for a bumper turn out, as in previous times they’ve played on a Friday night under the lights.
