BERKS COUNTY progressed through to the play-off final with a victory against EVERSLEY & CALIFORNIA.
The teams were locked at 0-0 at half-time before the game took a twist when Berks County’s Sid Gbla was sent off in the 52nd after receiving a second yellow card.
Despite going down to 10 men, it was the Swords who went in front just after the hour mark when Ollie Graham netted the opening goal of the contest.
County doubled their lead in the 72nd minute through Shaun Wyllie And managed to hold on despite a stoppage time goal from Callum Samuel-Harman for Eversley.
Berks will face British Airways in the play-off final on Tuesday night with a shot at promotion on the line.
Southern League Premier South play-offs
BRACKNELL TOWN suffered play-off heartbreak for the second consecutive season as they suffered an extra-time loss to AFC Totton.
Gary Abisogun scored the leveller three minutes from time to take the game to extra-time, but it was Totton who went through to the final after netting an 107th minute winner.
Combined Counties Premier North play-offs
READING CITY had their promotion chances scuppered as they were knocked out of the play-off semi-finals by Bedfont Sports.
The Cityzens went a goal down inside the opening minute of the match before Dan Warre found an equaliser 11 minutes later.
But the hosts scored two quick goals before the break to take a 3-1 advantage.
A Tyler Robinson goal got Reading back into the contest shortly after the restart, but Bedfont restored their two goal lead less than 10 minutes later to consolidate a 5-2 victory.
Reading City manager Simon Johnson said: “Applaud the FA for brining in play-offs to step five. Made it a much more enjoyable season for a lot more teams. It certainly gave us something to play for since Christmas. Today was a pleasure to be part of.”

WARGRAVE finished just one point off the top of the table after they made it 15 wins on the bounce with victory over BURGHFIELD.
Having picked up just one point from their first seven matches, Wargrave went on an exceptional run of wins which took them close to winning the league title.
Wargrave end the campaign in second place on 46 points with 15 wins, one draw and six losses.
Burghfield have one game left to play and are currently in fifth, but could finish in fourth if results go their way.

READING YMCA RAPIDS picked up three points in their penultimate game of the season with a 5-3 success at BURGHFIELD RESERVES.
The Rapids are in fourth spot, while Burghfield are in sixth with one game left to play each.
BINFIELD U21s tasted defeat in their final match with a 2-1 loss away to league champions Tadley Calleva Reserves.

READING CITY DEVELOPMENT were beaten 4-0 at home by Mortimer Development.
The Cityzens are in sixth with two games left to play.

BERKS COUNTY SWORDS missed out on the chance to gain silverware after they were edged out 3-1 by Westwood Wanderers Reserves.

SHIRE UNITED got their hands on the trophy with a thumping 5-0 victory over PANTHERS FC.
