The Rotary Club of Reading Maiden Erlegh is organising a charity art fair this weekend in aid of the Thames Valley Air Ambulance and other Rotary supported charities.
Organisers promise that visitors will be sure to find something artistic to fall in love with at the Reading Charity Art Fair.
It runs on Saturday and Sunday in Leighton Park School in Shinfield.
They promise more than 200 pieces of art from local artists and ceramicists, beautifully displayed in the light and airy Oakview exhibition hall.
Most of the paintings and ceramics can be purchased, with prices between £25 and £1,000.
Card payments can be accepted.
And on Friday, October 25, we are also holding a special preview party at which you can talk with the artists and get first choice of any artworks that you want to purchase.
Tickets cost £10 including a glass of wine and canapés and can be obtained by sending an email to readingcharityartfair@gmail.com.
Most of the funds raised by the Art Fair will go to the Thames Valley Air Ambulance with the remainder to local causes and charities.
Entry to the fair on Saturday and Sunday is free and there is free parking. As well as admiring and perhaps buying the art on display, you can enjoy refreshments and cakes in the Art Café run by the Inner Wheel Club members.
