RESIDENTS across Berkshire may soon spot an enthusiastic man on a self-powered kick scooter travelling through their towns – and for a very special reason.
Krish Patel from the School of Kindness is scooting a heart-shaped route around the county, covering more than a marathon a day, to celebrate the power of kindness and raise funds for UK kindness charity 52 Lives.
Starting and finishing in Wokingham, Krish’s four-day journey, from Monday, November 10, to Thursday, November 13, will take him through Reading, Fleet, Windsor and Marlow, tracing a heart-shape on the map.
Along the way, he’ll be stopping at local schools to deliver kindness assemblies through the School of Kindness, inspiring children to be kind to themselves and others in the lead-up to World Kindness Day, on November 13.
“The heart isn’t just a shape on a map – it’s a symbol of how kindness connects and unites us all,” Krish said.
“This year’s Anti-Bullying Week theme, Power for Good, is a perfect reminder that every one of us has the power to make a positive difference.
“Through kindness, we can all be a force for good.”
Krish, who is also director of Tales to Inspire, has taken on many challenges in the past to promote kindness and resilience, but says this one is especially close to his heart.

Funds raised from the challenge will support 52 Lives, which provides practical support to people in need, and runs the School of Kindness, delivering free workshops and assemblies for more than 280,000 children every year.
