Wokingham Town Football Club’s Aldershot Cup match on Tuesday evening was abandoned after just six minutes due to a power outage.
The Lowther Road ground was plunged into darkness shortly before 8pm following a fault in its three-phase electrical supply.
After a short wait, the match referee took the decision to abandon the match against Tadley Calleva.
As the clubhouse was also without power, both teams and some supporters went to the nearby Emmbrook Inn.
Engineers have since attended, and power has been restored to the ground.
A new date for the match will be scheduled in due course.
