Michael Aubrey Structural Engineers has been recognised with the prestigious HSBC its commitment to developing innovative engineering solutions that solve some of the UK’s most complex structural challenges.
The award was presented at the HSBC and Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) Small Business Growth Awards, held at the iconic Savoy Hotel in London, bringing together some of the UK’s most innovative and ambitious small businesses.
Michael Aubrey Structural Engineers was honoured to receive the award from entrepreneur and Dragons’ Den star Sara Davies MBE, who will also be mentoring the business over the coming months as part of the prize package.
The award recognises organisations that are driving innovation and making a significant impact within their industries. For Michael Aubrey Structural Engineers, it reflects years of investment in developing practical, buildable engineering solutions that challenge conventional thinking and deliver better outcomes for clients.
One of the firm’s most notable achievements has been its pioneering work addressing Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (RAAC), a structural issue that has affected schools, hospitals and public buildings across the UK. Rather than accepting demolition as the only viable solution, the company developed the UK’s first in-situ Carbon Fibre Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) repair solution, providing a safer, more sustainable and cost-effective
alternative.
