A man in his 50s has been arrested on suspicion of assault after an altercation between two drivers following a road traffic collision in Wokingham, police have said.
Officers from Thames Valley Police were called to the junction of Rances Lane and London Road at about 09:00 BST on Thursday following a crash involving two vehicles.
Police said the collision itself did not result in any injuries. However, an altercation subsequently took place between the drivers.
One person was taken to hospital with injuries sustained during the incident and is receiving medical treatment.
A man in his 50s was arrested on suspicion of assault and remains in police custody, Thames Valley Police said.
Enquiries are ongoing.
