AN 82-year-old man has died following a two-car collision in Woodley this afternoon.
At around 1.40pm a grey Toyota Corolla collided with a grey BMW 318 in Headley Road.
The road was closed while emergency services, including the air ambulance, attended the scene.
The driver of the Toyota was taken to hospital where he later died from his injuries. His next of kin have been informed.
Investigating officer PC Gareth Miles, of Roads Policing based at Three Mile Cross police station said: “I would appeal to anyone who saw the collision to contact me via the Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101.
“If you don’t want to speak directly to police you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court.”
