THAMES Valley Police is continuing to deal with an incident taking place in central Wokingham which is causing major disruption today (Tuesday, April 21.)
Wokingham Today received reports that an incident was taking place in Goatley Way, off of Peach Street, at around 3pm.
At least five police cars have been sighted at the scene, as well as a police van, blocking off one of the lanes on Peach Street.
While police remain on the scene, considerable traffic disruption is being caused along Peach Street, as well as on both Broad Street and Denmark Street as a result, which is in turn causing some delays on London Road too.
The nature of the incident is currently unconfirmed.
Thames Valley Police has been contacted for comment.
