A CELEBRATION evening last Wednesday saw staff at a Sindlesham pub welcome guests to explore its makeover.
The Walter Arms held a VIP part to mark the end of a refurbishment and a change in management.
Now part of The Old Spot Pub Co, the new-look pub pays tribute to its heritage while also looking to the future.

The Grade 2 listing building used to be owned by the Walter family who ran the Bearwood estate. It had been built by John Walter III in the 19th century while he was editor of The Times with the aim of providing space for villagers to enjoy a drink.
Guests to Wednesday’s unveiling were able to enjoy free prosecco and canapés, and live music from is name is Grizzly Rhys. They were also treated to a tour of the new site.

While the pub will continue to offer a mixture of beer and food, it also has a new meetings and function space with special packages available for day conferences and meetings.
Tom Martin will be performing in the pub on Friday, May 31
