Two people have been arrested after reports of anti-social behaviour involving a stolen motorbike in Shinfield, police have said.
Officers from Thames Valley Police’s Wokingham South Neighbourhood Policing Team said they became aware of an increase in complaints from residents about a motorbike being ridden in an anti-social manner.
The force said the bike, which had been reported stolen, was causing a noise nuisance at all hours of the day and night and was affecting people living in the area.
Police said local officers arrested two people in the Reading area in connection with a number of offences linked to the stolen motorbike.
The pair have since been released on bail while enquiries continue.
Thames Valley Police said there had been no further reports of similar incidents since the arrests.
In a statement, the force thanked members of the public for reporting the incidents and assisting officers with their investigation.
Police have urged anyone experiencing anti-social behaviour to report emergencies by calling 999, or non-emergency incidents by calling 101.
