Thames Valley Police is appealing for information following reports of a member of the public being struck by a metal nut thrown from a moving vehicle.
At around 12pm and 1.30pm yesterday (Tuesday, June 25) a white van with at least two people inside, used slingshots to fire small objects at members of public and vehicles in the Woodley and Earley areas.
The incidents happened on Crockhamwell Road, Woodlands Avenue, Beechwood Avenue and Wokingham Road.
The offenders are described as two white men in a small white van which had blue decals and a ladder on top.
Investigating officer Detective Sergeant Johnathan Hare, based at Loddon Valley police station, said: “We are aware of this series of incidents and are appealing for the public’s help in our investigation.
“We would ask anyone who witnessed anything of this nature or may have dash-cam footage to please come forward.
