Woodley town council’s popular Picnic in the Park returns on Saturday (August 8), offering a free afternoon of entertainment, activities and community spirit at Woodford Park.
Running from 2pm until 5pm, the event invites residents to bring a picnic blanket, gather family and friends and enjoy a relaxing afternoon.
Highlights include live music from The Lee Aaron Band, a children’s area hosted by Circus Scene, magical Alice in Wonderland walkabout characters from Pumpkin Pantos and a sensory area run by The Chill and Fun Crew.
Visitors can also enjoy a range of food and drink stalls, with more performers set to be announced.
