Police have been carrying out speed enforcement checks in Bracknell after residents identified speeding as a key local concern.
Neighbourhood officers PC Canning and PCSO Barrow monitored traffic at several locations along Ringmead in Birch Hill as part of the operation.
Thames Valley Police said the majority of motorists were found to be driving within the speed limit, with only a small number receiving words of advice from officers.
The force said further speed enforcement would take place across Birch Hill and Hanworth over the coming weeks.
Police said the action follows feedback from its latest Community Survey, in which residents highlighted speeding as one of their top priorities.
A spokesperson for the neighbourhood policing team said: “The good news is that the vast majority of drivers were travelling within the speed limit.
“A small number of motorists did receive some words of advice.
“We’ll be back out across Birch Hill and Hanworth over the coming weeks carrying out further enforcement because that’s exactly what you’ve asked us to do. In our latest Community Survey, speeding was highlighted as a priority, so we’re listening and taking action.”
The force is encouraging motorists to continue driving within the speed limit to help keep local roads safe.
