READING FC Women will kick off their Women’s Super League 2019/20 season with an away trip against Liverpool on the weekend of September 7th/8th.
Kelly Chambers’ side enjoyed a strong campaign last season as they finished in 5th position in the Women’s Super League, three places above Liverpool, and also made it to the Women’s FA Cup semi-final where they were narrowly beaten by West Ham United on penalties.
The Royals enjoyed good success against their opening day opponents last season with a 1-0 away triumph while a late Fara Williams goal rescued a point for Reading in the home fixture as the sides shared the points in a thrilling 2-2 draw.
The full set of WSL fixtures will be released on Wednesday July 10.
