The latest donation from a new charity that aims to help homeless people in Wokingham has been made to The Salvation Army.
Sue Jackson who heads up Wokingham In Need presented Lt Jan Howlin with a cheque for £350 at the Army’s base in Sturges Road.
The Army will be able to use the money to buy a range of good and food for its work among the homeless and vulnerable in Wokingham borough this Christmas.
Mrs Jackson said: “Wokingham In Need will support The Salvation Army throughout the coming months and years and we thank them for their collaboration with WIN.”
