Plans have been submitted for the installation of a water filling station, and partial change of use of land at Morrisons in Woosehill.
The application to Wokingham Borough Council is seeking to install the unit, provided by Spotless Water,
Their website said: “Our ultra-pure water has had all minerals and impurities removed, making the water ideal for a multitude of uses including window cleaning, car valeting, solar panel cleaning and the aquatic trade.”
Plans said the purpose of the unit is to provide clean water solutions to a wide range of consumers, from window cleaners and car detailers to chiropodists and photographers.
The water filling station will occupy a single parking space, and measure approximately 2.4 metres in width, 3.2 metres in length, and 2.8 metres in height.
The location of the unit will be along the site’s western perimeter, sitting flush with the trees and hedges in the car park.

The consultation on the plans remains open until August 8.
