Families are invited to a Candlemas event that marks when the child Jesus was presented in the temple.
Children can bring their own Christingle – a small candle pressed into an orange, tied with a red ribbon, and bearing dried fruit/sweets on three cocktail sticks.
The fourth empty stick is a reminder of those less fortunate.
The service is at The Parish Church of St Andrew, Sonning on Sunday, February 5 at 10.30am.
A cash collection will be taken for Karun School in South India.
