Students at Emmbrook Sixth Form are celebrating strong A Level results, with more than three-quarters of grades awarded at A* to C.
The Wokingham school said the results continued a run of strong performances over the past two years, placing it among the highest-performing sixth forms in the area.
Subjects including economics, criminology, computer science, psychology and the sciences recorded particularly strong results.
Headteacher Nick McSweeney said he was “exceptionally proud” of the students, who were the first cohort to have attended the school from Year 7 through to Year 13 since he became headteacher.
“We are incredibly proud of our students,” he said.
“Their commitment, resilience, and ambition have once again delivered outstanding results.
“To maintain such high standards is a testament to the strength of our school community.”
He said the results reflected the efforts of students and teachers, alongside support from parents and carers.
David Constable, head of sixth form, said the year group had upheld the school’s “shared values and tradition of academic success”.
“Their achievements are the result of united effort, resilience, and hard work over the past two years,” he said.
“It has been a pleasure to work alongside them during their Sixth Form journey as part of our school family.”
Pete Whitehouse, assistant headteacher for post-16, also praised the students for their achievements.
“The strong outcomes across such a wide range of subjects are a reflection of the talent, commitment and resilience shown by this exceptional year group,” he said.
“They should be incredibly proud of what they have achieved.”
Students are now preparing to move on to a range of destinations, with some heading to leading universities including Oxbridge.
Others are set to take up apprenticeships and vocational opportunities.
The school said it was looking forward to seeing the students continue to develop as they begin the next stage of their education and careers.
