A WOKINGHAM charity that supports people in times of crisis, is searching for a couple of elves to help Santa this Christmas.
The Cowshed is looking to hire one or two Christmas Project Assistants, temporary staff members who will support the charity’s work for three months.
Successful applicants will support the planning, coordination and day-to-day delivery of the Christmas Project by providing administrative, logistical and operational support.
The Cowshed’s Christmas Project is the charity’s largest annual project, providing Christmas gifts and festive support to around 3,000 children across Berkshire each year. Working in partnership with referral professionals, businesses and more than 400 volunteers, it collects, organises and distributes thousands of gifts to families experiencing financial hardship, helping to ensure every child has something to open on Christmas Day.

Christmas Project Assistants will be based at Green Park Reading, with some local travel required.
The post is from Thursday, September 24 through to Christmas Eve, with pay £13.45 per hour, for thirty seven and a half hours per week.
The closing date is Friday, August 21, with interviews taking place between Monday, August 24 and Friday, September 4.
