Students at Brakenhale School in Bracknell are celebrating a rise in A Level grades, with more than half of those heading to university securing places at institutions ranked among the top third nationally.
The school said its average grade had increased significantly, while the proportion of A* to B grades had almost doubled to 43%.
It said 56% of students progressing to university had secured places at institutions in the top third of UK universities.
Students are heading to universities across the country to study a wide range of subjects.
Among those celebrating is Hashem, who will study Construction Management at University College London.
Alex is heading to the University of Surrey to study Physics with Nuclear Astrophysics, while Natalia will study Biomedical Science at King’s College London.
Mindy has secured a place at the University of Bristol to study Chemical Physics, while Ciara will study Law with Politics and International Relations at Cardiff University.
Other destinations include Newcastle University, where Alfie will study Mathematics, and the University of Reading, where Shreya will study Applied Psychology.
Amber is heading to Royal Holloway, University of London to study Computer Science, while Alisha will study Sports Science at the University of Birmingham.
The school said other students were moving into apprenticeships and employment, with a range of workforce placements secured.
Headteacher Camilla Douglas said staff were “absolutely delighted” with the destinations secured by students.
“Students and staff have worked incredibly hard to achieve these results, and it is a pure joy to celebrate alongside our wonderful families today,” she said.
She said the rise in the average grade was a “testament to the culture of excellence and dedication” at the school.
“Whether our young people are heading off to world-class universities or launching their careers through top-tier pathways, we could not be more proud of everything they have accomplished,” she added.
The school said it wished the departing students every success as they begin the next stage of their education and careers.
