THE Met Office has issued an amber warning for snow in the Wokingham borough area for this morning – Friday, January 31.
The warning is in place until 11am.
Another two inches of snow could fall – as with all snow forecasts it is hard to predict exactly where it will fall and some parts of the borough may see it, some may not and it could miss us altogether.
However, the Met Office has said that it is likely to happen and will have a high impact on people.
The forecast warns:
“Even where snow does not fall icy stretches are still to be expected.”
Although the amber alert has been issued, no snow is currently forecast by the Met Office for this morning.
The BBC thinks there will be light snow/sleet showers this afternoon with more snow overnight.
