FIFTY local artists will be turning Wokingham’s town centre into a pop-up art gallery this weekend
ArtFest!, the annual outdoor art festival, will be held in Broad Street and offer visitors the opportunity to see – and buy – a range of artworks including limited edition prints, sculpture and ceramics.
Held on Saturday, June 2, artists will be on hand to explain about how their works were created, offer tips and share experiences. There will also be activities for children to enjoy.
Visitors can also take part in competitions and browse the stalls.
A statement on the group’s website says: “Despite the recent Town regeneration disruption, ArtFest promises, yet again, to be a great event for all!”
It takes place from 10am to 5pm and is free to visit.
