WOKINGHAM Lions Club has announced its #WOKY Comedy Nights will return this Autumn.
Held at Wokingham Theatre, the popular stand-up events entertain audiences while raising thousands of pounds for borough charities.
The group’s new 2024/2025 season will consist of five shows, starting in October.
Each event features three comedians, and is introduced by a master of ceremonies.
All events take place at Wokingham Theatre, with the first on Friday, October 4.
Further Comedy Nights can be enjoyed on Fridays November 15, February 28, April 4, and May 16.
The theatre’s licensed bar opens from 7pm (and during intervals), allowing plenty of time to catch up with friends before the show starts at 8:30
Tickets cost £18.50, and all the season’s shows can now be booked.
Demand for seats regularly exceeds supply, and organisers recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.
