IT MIGHT be high summer, but thoughts in Woodley are already turning to the festive season.
The annual Christmas Extravaganza is to return to the Crockhamwell Road shopping precinct on Sunday, December 3.
Running from 10am to 3pm, it is a mixture of charity stalls, live entertainment, activities and games.
Seasonal refreshments are also served and children have an opportunity to meet Father Christmas and whisper some present requests.
The hugely popular event attracts thousands of visitors, and raises money for community groups and local charities.
Woodley Town Centre manager Brian Fennelly is taking applications for pitches, with charity stalls costing £40. Trade stalls are also available.
