A man from Bracknell has been jailed for 11 years after inflicting a series of sex offences on two child victims in Berkshire.
Dalton Stocker, 29, from Bracknell, pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual assault of a child and possession of prohibited images during a trial at Reading Crown Court.
In his trial, Stocker was found guilty by unanimous jury verdict of three counts of rape of a child, engaging in sexual activity in the presnece of a child, causing a child to engage in sexual activity, causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity, sexual activity with a child and assault of a child by penetration.
Stocker was also found guilty of two counts of making indecent images of a child,
His trial concluded in October 2024 and Stocker was sentenced to jail on Monday, April 28.
His name will be placed on the sex offenders’ register for life and he has also been subjected to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order for life.
The offences took place across the last decade throughout various locations in Berkshire where Stocker gained the trust of the victims who were made to feel that they would be blamed if they spoke out.
Following an arrest in November 2021, Stocker refused to answer the police’s questions before he was charged in November 2023.
Police staff investigator Jemma Broderick said: “These were abhorrent acts inflicted by Stocker upon his victims over a number of years.
“The victims in this case have shown remarkable resilience and courage throughout a lengthy investigation process and subsequent trial.
“With justice finally served, I hope that they can now find some closure and move forwards with their lives.
