ENJOY an evening of songs with British singer, bassist, radio presenter and long-time LGBT rights activist, Tom Robinson.
The performer, now 75, is best known for his 1970s and 80s hits, Glad to Be Gay, 2-4-6-8 Motorway, and Don’t Take No for an Answer, and for his solo single, War Baby.
Previously seen at Wokingham Festival, he will be joined in the town by virtuoso guitarist Adam Phillips, in their two man show: Tom Robinson with Adam Phillips – Then & Now Tour.
The pair will share funny stories about their experiences of the music industry, and will perform together some of Robinson’s best known tracks, along with some unexpected gems from Café Society (1975) and Only The Now (2015).
The Wokingham Music Club event will take place at All Saints Church, Wokingham, on Thursday, January 29, at 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £25, and are available from: wokinghammusicclub.co.uk
