Waste collections in Wokingham Borough will be adjusted over Christmas and New Year.
Residents are urged to check the revised collection schedule on the council’s website, before putting out their waste during this time.
All rubbish and recycling collections, including garden waste, from December 25, 2023, until January 12, 2024 will change to the revised schedule, as crews will be taking the day off on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
Crews will be working on three Saturdays (December 30, January 6 and January 13), and having an earlier start at 5.30am. Residents are advised to put out their waste the night before to avoid being missed.
The revised waste collection schedule from December 25 until January 12 is as follows.
