WOKINGHAM resident Dalia Ismail was diagnosed with breast cancer two and a half years ago.
This year, despite having undergone surgery and cancer treatment, she climbed the Himalayas with a team of other cancer surviving fundraisers, and helped raise a huge amount of money for Coppafeel
Now she is holding a food event, a Coppa-Curry Night in Wokingham.
Dalia is passionate about supporting Coppafeel, a charity that raises awareness of the signs and symptoms of the condition, especially in young people who may not be aware that it is a possibility.
Dalia said: “I hope lots of people will join us for a fun evening of amazing company and great food.
“All proceeds will go to breast cancer charity Coppafeel, to help support their mission to stamp out late detection of breast cancer.”
Dalia’s Coppa-Curry Night will take place at Wokingham’s Tamarind Tree restaurant, on Tuesday, February 4, at 6.30pm.
Tickets cost £25 per person, and include mixed starters and a selection of curry, rice and naan. Drinks are extra.
