SHINFIELD Parish Council is inviting residents to take part in its annual litter pick.
The community event is set to take place on Friday, April 14, with everyone welcome to come along and get involved.
Organisers will provide litter picks, hi-vis jackets and bags, but advise visitors to bring their own gloves.
Participants will meet from 10am-2pm at the School Green Centre.
Those who bring back at least one bag full of litter back to the centre can enjoy refreshments provided by Shinfield Care Home, with youngsters being treated to their own rewards.
Anyone who is unable to attend can take part in the parish council’s Adopt a Street project.
