A WOKINGHAM fundraising Bingo Bongo night promises havoc and hilarity.
With Elsie Crumpet in charge of the clickety clicks, and legs elevens organisers say that anything could happen, and they warn anyone expecting a regular bingo night to think again.
Queen of the bingo, Elsie is described as funny and unique, as she performs her Bingo Bongo, in aid of First Days Children’s Charity.
Created by Karen Dalton, she is known to sing, break dance, and generally create havoc – but she does know how to run a good bingo night, say organisers – even if it is bonkers.
Elsie’s bingo night is a fully interactive event where winners could walk away with a tinned pie, a dustpan, or a battenburg.
Bingo rounds will include: Speed Party Dance Bingo; Name That Tune; Forfeit Time; Risk it for a biscuit; You Sing, I Sing; Spin the Wheel; and Jackpot Bingo.
The event is being organised to raise money for Wokingham charity, First Days, which supports children whose families are experiencing hardship.
No previous experience of bingo is necessary, but all participants must be 18 years or older.
Alcohol, soft drinks, and snacks will be available to buy.
The event takes place at St Crispin’s school hall, on Saturday, March 23.
Doors open at 7.30pm, with tickets costing £12 per person.
