Flood alerts have been issued for the River Loddon and the Emm Brook following days of heavy rain in the area.
The Environment Agency (EA) issued the alert over the weekend following days of unrelenting downpours.
This morning (Monday) the EA reported that the water levels on the River Loddon were still rising slowly in the Arborfield and Sindlesham areas.
A statement on its website said that the river is likely to remain out in the flood plain over the next few days but no property flooding is currently expected.
The report for the Emm Brook stated that standing water may remain on the flood plain but that the river would remain very reposnive to further rain.
No property flooding is expected in this area at this time.
The weather forecast for the next several days is for scattered showers that may be heavy at times.
