Wokingham Town made it three wins from three games with Saturday’s 3-2 victory over British Airways in the Combined Counties Premier Division North.

More importantly, that victory saw the Sumas banish any relegation fears with three games left – starting with their final home game of the season on Saturday against an Edgware and Kingsbury side that is fighting for survival at step five.

Town’s latest win came after an impressive 3-1 win last Wednesday against local rivals Reading City.

That match marked the first senior goal for 17-year-old Jaden Odama. The youngster earned his place in the first team squad after impressing in Town’s under-18s.

Reading City also have three games left. Their lacklustre end of season run continued on Saturday with a 0-1 defeat at home to Milton United.

They face play-off chasing Harefield United away from home on Saturday.
