OAKBANK students collected their GCSE results on Thursday, marking the end of their Year 11 journey.
This year’s set of results saw 67% of candidates achieve a 4 or better in English, 74% in Maths and 100% in Science.
Headteacher, Steve Jump, said: “We are all incredibly proud of the achievements of our Year 11 students. They have had to overcome unprecedented challenges these past few years and their achievements are testament to their positive attitudes and determination to succeed.
“I would also like to personally thank the dedicated team of staff at Oakbank for their relentless energy in supporting all our students.”
The school said that these results reflect its commitment to raising standards and improvements that are being made in all aspects of the school.
