InstaGroups team of experienced installers took on a project in North Oxfordshire to insulate a unique, and unusual property. Constructed before the 1900’s, this building was previously known as a Co-Operative store. Today, a 2-bedroom end of terrace property located within a lovely village in Hook Norton.
Call in the experts
The tenants were having trouble keeping the house warm inside. It was inefficient to run and turning up the heating meant high energy bills. Consequently, they decided to contact InstaGroup to find out more information on how they could make their home warmer.
An InstaGroup home assessment was booked, and our professionally approved home energy expert arrived to look at the property. Following the survey, our expert recommended installing InstaGroup’s External Wall insulation system and loft insulation.
A smart solution – inside and out
Following our property survey – and after hearing about the added reassurance of our 25-year independent insurance backed guarantee – the customer decided to go ahead with InstaGroup to install External Wall insulation, which features a weather-proof render finish.
The insulated panels installed, help to hold any heat introduced to the property for longer periods, which significantly reduces the amount of heat lost through the walls. The customer was able to choose from a huge range of render colours and finishes to achieve the desired look on the outside walls. The result: A smooth, fresh render of which completed the wall refurbishment.
The work took place in April 2022 and the complete installation time for this External Wall insulation project was just under four weeks. As always, once the job was complete, the installation team gave the windows, doors, down pipes, and ground area around the property a thorough clean.
Because warm air rises
Additionally, the customer also decided to go ahead with InstaGroups loft insulation. The former home assessment included accurate measurements and loft accessibility information, allowing the process to be straightforward and trouble-free, with minimum disruption to the customers home life. Since loft insulation prevents the heat from rising and dissipating through the ceiling area; the customer will be able to enjoy a warmer, cosier home right away.
