A Crowthorne business came to the rescue and found an expensive pair of sunglasses that had been dropped in the River Thames.
Divecrew received a call as to whether they could retrieve the sunglasses from the River Thames in Henley.
Business co-owner Martin Weddell, aka Shark Bite, was dispatched to make an underwater search by moorings, close to the Angel public house.
The sun glasses were a limited edition of the Jaques Marie Zephirin 471, with a price of close to £800.
Martin said: “Fortunately the client knew where the sunglasses were dropped into the Thames.
“He tried himself to find them at the time by jumping into the water but had no success.
“Some objects that fall in the water do not always travel straight down. Searching is hampered by poor visibility (about half a metre), weed, silt and current.
“I spent just over 40 minutes searching in about 2.5 metres of water and a four metre square area. Having checked non weed areas, I doubled back, searching with my hands in the blanket week.
“That is where I found the sunglasses by touch. They were not in the spot where they initially entered the water.
“I am just so pleased we were able to recover the special sun glasses for Lucas’.”
