MERMAIDS will be visiting Broad Street mall tomorrow to raise money for marine conservation.
The contestants from this year’s ‘Miss Mermaid UK’ will be at the centre from 12pm to 2pm, where customers can meet the mermaids and pose for photos as well as having the opportunity to purchase tickets for the event on the Saturday night.
Customers who take a selfie with the mermaids will be able to purchase tickets half price on the door.
This year, ‘Miss Mermaid UK’ is raising money for Sea Shepherd and is being held at the Madejski Stadium, Reading on Saturday, October 5.
Four winners will go on to represent the UK at Miss Mermaid International 2020 in Egypt.
The Saturday show is family-friendly and will have a real-life mermaid at the door for pictures with children.
