Clive Jones, the Liberal Democrat MP for Wokingham, has launched a new initiative inviting residents to nominate their favourite pub in the constituency.
The initiative aims to recognise the essential role pubs play in bringing communities together and recognise the strength of Wokingham’s thriving hospitality sector.
Voting has opened for residents to nominate their favourite local which contributes to the community spirit across the constituency.
Clive Jones, the MP for Wokingham, said: “As the MP for Wokingham, I am always keen to recognise what makes our town such a great place to live. Local pubs are more than just places to enjoy a drink; they are at the heart of our communities.
“I have consistently championed our hospitality industry in Parliament, recognising the challenges it faces and the dedication of its staff.
“This campaign is a way for residents to show appreciation for the pubs they love, while also celebrating the vibrant local economy they support.”
Residents can nominate their favourite pub on the Wokingham Liberal Democrats’ website, before voting closes on the 17th April.
