A PRIMARY school in the borough is organising a Jingle Bell Jog as part of its Christmas festivities.
Emmbrook Junior School’s Jingle Bell Jog and Festive Fair will see visitors to the event running a two mile safe route, dressed in fancy dress.
There will be prizes for the best costumes and a sweet treat for all who complete the mini tour around Emmbrook.
The fair will offer various stalls, including bottle and confectionery tombolas, crafted gifts, and arts, second hand school uniform, and craft activities.
Refreshments will be available too, with hot chocolate, tea and coffee, homemade cakes and mince pies, mulled wine, and hot dogs.
Santa will be visiting and children can join him in his grotto to hear a festive story and receive a small confectionery gift.
A minimum donation of £3 per child is suggested to visit Santa, but there is no charge for visitors to the Fair.
The event takes place at Emmbrook Junior School, on Sunday, December 10.
Gates are open from 10.30am until 1.30pm.
Tickets for the run cost £5 per person or £15 for a family.
The event, sponsored by David Cliff Estate Agents, will raise money for Emmbrook Junior School PTA.
