With Storm Emma due to stick around until the weekend and plenty of schools shut, there have been plenty of opportunities to take some fantastic snow pictures.

Reader Ian Hydon has been out for a wintry walk around Wokingham today and sent us some of his pictures.

Our main image is of children going sledging in Joel Park – a snowtime tradition.

The neighbouring Holt Copse is looking suitably festive right now.
