Eve Odgen- who enters competitions for a hobby- striked lucky last week when crowned winner of The Wokingham Paper’s latest prize giveaway.
The social media contest- run in collaboration with Holiday Inn Reading M4 Junction 10- landed a spa day and two course lunch into the hands of Ms Odgen and a plus one.
The winner said: “I came across the competition whilst scrolling through Twitter. When I saw it I entered straight away.”
The Reading branch of Holiday Inn features a 19-metre indoor swimming pool, sun loungers, steam room and a sauna, while offering treatments such as massages, facials and manicures to its guests.
Ms Odgen said: “I am super excited to have won the spa day as I’ve never been on one before.”
“I’m not sure who will be joining me yet, but it will most probably be either my husband or friend.”
The spa day giveaway took place across The Wokingham Paper’s Facebook, Instagram and Twitter pages, and selected a winner from across the three sites.
