CHAMBER choir Thames Voyces is inviting choral enthusiasts for a day of immersive exploration and enhancement of their vocal skills at a special event to be held in Crowthorne next month.
The workshop, led by Greg Hallam, aims to delve into the intricacies of choral technique through the rendition of excerpts from two distinct masses.
The event will feature performances of Chilcott’s Little Jazz Mass, and Byrd’s Mass for Four Voices.
Participants are requested to check in at 9.30am, followed by a morning singing session until lunchtime. Attendees are advised to bring their own lunch.
After a break, the singing will resume until 3.30pm, concluding with an informal performance at 3.50pm.
The workshop, to be held at St John the Baptist Parish Church on Waterloo Road and will see singers accompanied by Nick Austin.
Places cost £28 and includes refreshments and music.
