Two further arrests have been made after a man was stabbed in the garden of a property in Berkshire.
Thames Valley Police said an 18-year-old man from Birmingham had been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
A second man, aged 20 and also from Birmingham, was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
The 20-year-old has been released on police bail, while the 18-year-old remains in custody.
Officers were called to Desborough Crescent in Maidenhead at about 16:45 BST on Monday, 10 August, following reports that a man in his 20s had been stabbed.
The victim remains in hospital in a stable condition.
Police said a woman in her late teens from Maidenhead, who had previously been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, and a man in his 40s from Maidenhead, arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, had both been released on police bail.
Detective Inspector Liam Butler, the lead investigating officer, said police believed the incident was a targeted attack.
“There is no indication of any wider risk to the public,” he said.
He added that officers were carrying out “extensive enquiries” to establish the full circumstances of what happened.
Officers will remain in the area while the investigation continues, police said.
