TWO homes in Twyford have been burgled in the last two weeks.
Between Tuesday, October 31 and Friday, November 3, someone broke into a property in Wagtail Close by forcing open the rear French windows. The offenders closed all the curtains in the house before searching the whole property. Items of currency were stolen. Between 2.30pm and 6.15pm on Wednesday, November 1, someone forced open the front door of a house in Springfield Road. Again, the offender drew the curtains before stealing car keys and a purse which had been left in the kitchen. Finally, also on Springfield Road, someone attempted to break into a house on Thursday, November 2. The door to the garage was found open and someone had tried to open a window. Anyone who may have seen anything suspicious around this time should call 101, quoting reference number 43170325496.
