2022 Candidates
Danny Errawalla, Conservative
I’ve lived in South Lake since 2016 with my wife and two young sons. South Lake is a brilliant place to live and I want to work with others to make it more pleasant and peaceful. I’m determined to protect our green spaces and particularly want to improve the lake and ensure our roads are free of litter and weeds. I’m active in reporting fly tipping, graffiti, and potholes and stepping up to become a councillor will help me do better for South Lake. I’d be grateful for your support.
I recently presented a petition to Wokingham Borough Council against the one way system on Woodlands Avenue and this stopped it in its tracks. Thank you to all who signed and helped collect signatures: a great community team effort.
Throughout the Covid period, I volunteered with a charity to deliver food and essentials to those who needed it in Woodley. I have also helped with neighbourhood issues, including anti-social behaviour, speeding and delivering food to local vulnerable people. This has led me to form strong relationships with the local Council, police and community.
Please stop and say hi to me if you spot me locally. I’m always up for a chat.

I’ve lived in Woodley for over 40 years and am committed to our community. I’m a Town Councillor, a school governor, and I’ve served as a Borough Councillor campaigning for better infrastructure and local services. I work for the local credit union and am very concerned about the level of poverty that is being experienced by our residents. I want the chance to speak up for South Lake – I need YOUR vote to do that.
