A READING charity is holding a quiz to raise funds for the work it does to support people living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS).
Berkshire MS Therapy Centre invites people to gather a group of friends, family or colleagues to support the very worthwhile cause.
The centre, off Oxford Road, Reading, offers specialised therapies including oxygen therapy and physiotherapy, as well as a social space for individuals living with MS throughout Berkshire and its surrounding areas.
Although there is currently no cure for MS, the therapies provided at the Centre significantly enhance the quality of life for those affected.
Freia Pagdin, senior fundraising manager at the centre said: “Our centre provides a lifeline for local people with MS and we rely on fundraising, including events such as this, to be able to continue this vital support.
“The quiz night is guaranteed to be fun so why not get a team together, give those brain cells a workout, have fun and support people with MS.”
The event will take place at the Jazz Café in Reading on Wednesday, September 9.
Doors open at 6pm, with the quiz beginning at 7pm.
A raffle will also be held on the night.
Tickets cost £10, and are available to buy online.
People wishing to eat at the cafe beforehand can do so for an additional cost.
The Jazz Café is situated at the Reading FC Select Car Leasing Stadium just off the A33.
There is plenty of free parking.
