A DAY centre for older people is holding an event to raise funds to support services it provides.
WADE’s wine tasting will take place at its premises in Wokingham.
Six wines provided by beverage specialist, Magestic Wine.
Tasting notes will be provided to help tasters compare and contrast different flavours.
And a raffle will be held during the evening, along with tapas food.
The WADE Centre provides a social and caring environment for the over 60s in Wokingham and surrounding areas.
It regularly holds fundraising events to support its services which include: arts and crafts sessions, home cooked food, minibus trips, live performances, chiropody, exercise classes, and annual fairs.
The wine tasting event will take place at the WADE Day Centre, 40 Reading Road.
Doors open at 7.30pm on Thursday, October 20.
Tickets cost £15, with the entry fee including tapas food.
Parking is available at the centre, with overflow parking also across the road at the Masonic Hall car park.
Places are limited, so early booking is advised.
